When chartering a gullet in
Turkey, you might consider going to Greece for visiting some of the beautiful islands like Symi, Rhodes, Kos, Kalymnos
or Patmos.
So let us explain a few points
you should know:
1) There are extra harbor taxes for Greek waters
(about 300 € one week/boat)
2) Passenger limit 12 pax
3) Stops or even anchoring in bays or coves are not allowed, only harbours

 M/S AKO
|
|
The M/S AKO is
a superb motor sailor designed for full charter and launched only in 2004. She is a wooden boat construction built
in the typical Aegean coast tradition. The type is an "Ayna-ketch" model, (a mirror-aft) which gives
these gulets much more cabin space inside.
She has 8 cabins for up to 16 guests. All cabins have ensuite bathrooms with home style toilets and home style
shower-cabins. There are two master cabins and 6 cabins are with double beds.
All cabins have their individual air-condition
She comes fully equipped with VHF radio, GSM telephone, dinghy with outboard, stereo music system, windsurf, canoe,
fishing and snorkeling equipment, generator and continuous hot water.
The 4 man-crew of AKO consists of a captain, two sailors who are for your service all the time and a chef, that
will bring to you all the delicious dishes, the Turkish cuisine has to offer. More on Food on board click here
Comfort/Recreation: Spacious sun deck area with sun mattresses and cushions, Sun awning, Cushioned aft deck with

Your meals on board:
On M/S AKO you will be served Turkish cuisine at its best. You may choose
between Fullboard
(3 meals + teatime) at a price of € 28,- p/person per day or halfboard
at € 20,- .
If there are vegetarians among you, no problem at all, the Turkish cuisine is the best solution for that, you just
tell us. Soft Drinks and alcoholic drinks are extra, we offer you to buy them in a supermarket and you just pay
us the bill plus a service-extra of only 10%: We think that's a fair offer and all previous guests did appreciate
that.

about air-condition on gullets

M/S AKO master cabin

There is nearly
none of the gullet charter-companies who tells you the truth about air-conditition on Gulets. Yes, some do have
AC and you think vou can switch it on when you like. It's not! On a boat the AC can only run when the generator
is on, or in a harbor when connectet to 220 Volt. But mainly you are in anchorbays, often next to a neighbor who
doesn't like the noise of your generator and you wouldn't like it either during the night for example.
So most of the gullets have come to a gentlemens agreement not to disturb eachother - AC can be used on the most
of the boats 2-3 hours in the morning or at night from 20 to 24 hours.
